Splint and Casting Workshop

Need to practice your splinting/casting skills before starting the new job? Need a splinting/casting refresher? Basics of Ortho's Splinting and Casting workshop is a 3 hour course that includes didactic instruction on indications, principles, and techniques of basic short and long arm (including sugar-tong, ulnar gutter), short and long leg splinting and casting, and hands-on practice in application and removal. This is a practical workshop and partnering is necessary, so please wear clothing that allows for at minimum short arm and short leg casting. Also, fiberglass and plaster can irreversibly soil clothing.
